I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at University at Albany, SUNY. Prior to joining UAlbany I graduated with a PhD from the Department of Computer Science at University of California, Santa Barbara. I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees of Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
I received the NSF CAREER award in 2019 and the University at Albany Presidential Award for Exemplary Community Engagement.

Research Interests
My research interests include spectrum measurement and management, architectures and protocols for heterogeneous traffic networks, network measurement and evaluation, small autonomous cellular networks and in-situ network deployment, particularly in challengeing areas (e.g. rural Africa and agricultural U.S.).
