Fun

Welcome to my homepage! I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Department of Computer Science of the University at Albany, SUNY- the home to two A. M. Turing Award laureates (Richard Stearns and Frances E. Allen). I have been working with my academic advisor Prof. Siwei Lyu on some challenging but interesting research projects supported by an NSF CAREER Award since 2008.

Before joining SUNY Albany, I received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University and the M.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Georgia. I was a lecturer with Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University. I have published 8 peer-reviewed international journal and conference papers (all as the first author) in the research fields of multimedia security, image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and medical imaging. I have also served as reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Multimedia, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Journal of Signal, Image and Video Processing, Security and Communication Networks, and Journal of Computers. I am the recipient of 2011~2012 SUNY Albany Distinguished Dissertation Award.

My research interests include multimedia security, image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and medical imaging.

I am a member of ACM, IEEE, and SPIE.
