Early Registration deadline is August 27, 23:59:59 PST. Registration after this date will be full price in each category.
All registration fee is estimated in USD, but transaction will be done in New Taiwan Dollar (TWD) with a fixed rate of $1 USD = $31 TWD.

Rules

Each conference attendee must be registered.

Every paper accepted by a technical meeting sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society to present at AVSS must have at least one registration at the FULL member/non-member rate. Thus, for a manuscript for which all authors are students, one student author will be required to register at the full registration rate. One person can register multiple papers as long as that person is a co-author on each of the papers.

Registration entitles the attendee to technical sessions, workshops, coffee breaks, welcome reception, conference banquet, city tours, as well as conference materials and electronic conference proceedings.

IEEE Membership: You must be an IEEE Member at the time of registration to receive the IEEE member discount. For IEEE Member, you must put in your valid IEEE Membership number in your registration. Please visit ieee.org/join for the steps to join IEEE. We encourage you to do so if you are not an IEEE member.

Forms of payment: Only on-line registration is accepted. Registration payments must be received by the registration deadline for the rate at which you registered; if payment is not received by the deadline, you will be responsible for the higher rate.

Workshop authors: A full registration is mandatory for each accepted workshop paper. Note some workshop has late paper notification and camera-ready deadlines. So workshop authors please ensure to finish registration by the early registration deadline of August 27.
- Papers which are not presented at the conference will be excluded from the official proceedings and will not appear in IEEE Xplore. It is, therefore, critical that at least one author of this paper attend the conference to present the work.

Refund Policy: All refund requests must be made via email with a written statement of withdrawal to avss2019tw@gmail.com and cc ippr9921@gmail.com. All cancellations will be subject to a USD$50 cancellation fee before August 27, 2019, 23:59, PST. NO REFUNDS will be made after August 27, 2019.

You are allowed to change the name on the registration without penalty.

VISA

Visa information: IEEE has strict guidelines regarding invitation letters for visa purposes. Such letters will only be issued to prospective attendees who have committed to complete the registration process (including the payment).
- A request for an invitation letter can be made by emailing avss2019tw@gmail.com. Please register early and immediately request an invitation letter to allow ample time for visa processing.

Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit Document Request
If you need the AVSS 2019 organization to process your request for applying Exit & Entry Permit-Taiwan (this is required by mainland China travellers), you must fill the following entries in the "Forms" page and add the USD$55 fee in the "Attending Survey" page for payment during registration.

- Position (in Traditional Chinese)
