Reception

The Reception will be held on-site at the University of Taipei venue on Sep. 18 Wednesday at 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.

Banquet

We will host the AVSS 2019 Banquet at the Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fishermen's Wharf (福容大飯店- 淡水漁人碼頭-淡水老街飯店) on Sep. 19 Thursday 7:30 to 10:30pm.

Fullon Hotel Tamsui Fishermen's Wharf

Transportation: Take MRT to the Tamsui station, and the Fullon Hotel will provide bus transportation to the banquet restaurant and after the banquet back to the MRT station. You can take MRT back to your hotel.

City Tour

Please sign up during Registration or in the conference no later than the Banquet night, so we can better control head counts for the organization of these tours. We encourage you to bring friends and family members to join the half-day trip. Note that we will provide student volunteering tour guides, but all the expense of the tour (transportation, food, ticket) is is out of your own pocket.

City Tour Group 1: Taipei 101 (台北101) & Xiangshan Trail (象山步道) - Great if you want to walk up to a short trail for an ideal spot to take pictures of Taipei 101.
City Tour Group 2: National Palace Museum (國立故宮博物院) & Thermal Valley (地熱谷) - Great if you want to visit the famous museum and also check out the popular hot spring spot.
City Tour Group 3: Taipei Zoo (台北動物園) & Maokong Crystal Gondola (貓空纜車) - This tour is good for family with young kids.
